Ian Brodie mentioned Clinton not Obama on NAFTA leak

Despite Harper’s empathetically denying his men has anything to do with the leak just the day before, it is now being reported here and in the U.S. that his chief of staff Ian Brodie was the source of the leak. Actually the U.S. news ABC reported it first which lead to Harper’s denial. The weird thing is Ian Brodie actually said it was Clinton campaign. But when CTV reported it, they said it was Obama. They even interjected that it was “not Clinton”. This puzzles some people since the news was about Obama. Why did CTV find it necessary to say it was not Clinton. News commentary are warning this could have serious implications for Canada and would discredit the integrity of our diplomat.

While everyone knows campaign times involves lots of rhetorics, it is surprising that before the NAFTA leak came out, Harper’s minister was already busy attacking Obama and Clinton NAFTA stand. On February 27, Canada’s Trade Minister David Emerson undiplomatically threatened the U.S. saying they don’t know how good they have it and oil would be on table if NAFTA is reopened.

Did someone look into Harper’s eye when he says his men was not involved? Apparently, he has a convincing eye that could tell you he is telling the truth. Dona Cadman looked into his eyes when she asked him about the million dollar insurance bribe:

She said that when she asked him directly about it, “He looked me straight in the eyes and told me he had no knowledge of an insurance policy. I knew he was telling me the truth. I could see it in his eyes.”
