Mr. Anonymous is Harper’s Mole

Media have been quoting an anonymous source as saying there’s turmoil within Liberal party. This led Bob Rae to retort and express his support for Dion. He told the press “you can quote me, I am not anonymous”.

Whoever the coward or Judas is, he is most likely a Harper’s mole trying to create an impression that the Liberal is falling apart. Something Harper’s had always been doing by praising Ignatieff and defaming Dion in one sentence.  With the election here, a real Liberal MP won’t try to backsnipe and make his/her party look bad to help Harper.

In other news, Harper’s deserve an Oscar award for best acting as he try to warn of deficit that the opposition would cause. We still have to find out whether we are already in deficit or not since Harper called an early election, effectively getting away from having to answer that question. The last time we check, our billions of dollar in surplus disappeared virtually overnight when Harper came to power.

  1. It’s even more likely that it’s more Conservative dirty tricks. Bob Rae has denied quotes that an “anonymous source” has claimed he said. I think the Tories are just trying to mess with our heads. They target Rae because they fear him most. Remember the dirty tricks at the leadership convention? Refresh your memory here:

  2. No, not really.

The reporters know who they’re quoting, and it’s usually people they’ve known for a while. Besides, they’ve been quoting multiple sources, both within the central campaign and in the ridings.

Truth is, Liberal infighting of the last 10 years have lowered commitment among organizers and developed a culture of leaky blabbers. I’ve been blogging about this from time to time:

Of course, it’s still possible there’s a Conservative mole in the Liberal organization. My point is that it’s not where the quotes are coming from.
